Learning Deliciously

Setting up my freaking del.icio.us page was becoming an exercise in frustration (I'll spare you the wannabe nerd ramblings), due in part to my million and a half bookmarks. It's almost like thumbing through the pages of your ancient journal, coming across people and places that you thought you'd need someday and then turning up dead pages right and left, then discovering that Momus of all people has a LiveJournal. Crazy world.

New Shoes

There was a time when I would've read the first few lines of Bill Cunningham muse Marilyn Kirschner's "discovery" of Nine West and snorted in agreement. People would buy shoes for under $100? "Quelle horreur!" is probably what I would've said, but hell, you move to the middle of America and you realize 100 clams is a heckuva lot of money. For shoes--or anything else for that matter. Does that stop me from coveting these Miu Miu lovelies? Sadly, no.
