We All Fall Down

There's nothing like taking a trip through the passageway that connects your office building to the hospital and discovering piles of towels to mop up the mess created by said passageway's leaky skylights. Um, risk management, people!

The whole reason for this journey was to procure some chocolately snacks (this, despite already ingesting more than my fair share of both sweet and savory items today). So I hit the vending machine for some Peanut M&M's (sweet and salty: magic!) and, of course, because the world is against me today, the bag wouldn't come down. So I threw in another 75 cents, humming "Go on, take everything, take everything..." under my breath, and lo, I ended up with two bags of Peanut M&M's. Which is not necessarily a bad thing.

(And, in case you're worrying that this is what it's come to, that my posts can only be about the mundanest of the mundane, let's just say that I'm sparing you the intense drama of moving from state to state to state. Ugh.)
