Oh Yeah, Happy New Year
I had this whole 2003 wrap-up planned. I, too, would weigh in on my favorite albums, and films and shows and art and fashion moments. I also wanted to send New Year's cards (being the product of a multifaith union, I tend to avoid the straight-up holiday cards) printed on my Gocco.
If you're reading this, you probably know me, and therefore you also know that I did not send New Year's cards. Nor did I write up 2003. Now that it's totally 2004, writing about 2003 seems a little lame, but, just so you know, I liked The Stills and Chris Lee and my superwarm Uggs and Lost in Translation and Kill Bill and yoga adventures in India! and the New Pornographers and the Pernice Brothers (Joe Pernice, I heart you madly) and the Shins and Grandaddy and moody electronica like Ulrich Schnauss (thanks, E!) and I can't remember what else, because I'm already over 2003.
People, get ready for your handscreened Valentine's Day cards! Or, you know, with the way I procrastinate, St. Patrick's Day cards! To celebrate my faux-Irish heritage!
